Can a feather bed and down-alternative comforter be washed in a standard washing machine?

We have a full size feather bed and down duvets alter­na­tive options to be washed. We can put in the laun­dry and wash in a stan­dard size car wash, or do we have dry cleaned? Nei­ther the tags are the wash­ing instruc­tions. Thanks!

Prod­uct Descrip­tion­When the frigid winds of win­ter arrive, many peo­ple turn to lav­ish bed com­forters to stay warm. Because of their lux­u­ri­ous feel and unbeat­able warmth, down com­forters are a pop­u­lar favorite. How­ever, down com­forters are made from the down of ducks or geese, to which many peo­ple are aller­gic. Luck­ily, there are Down Alter­na­tive comforters. 

Many of these Alter­na­tives are made of syn­thetic mate­ri­als (Micro-Polyester) that sim­u­late the look and feel of down. Our Com­forters, for exam­ple, are made from a hypoal­ler­genic syn­thetic mate­r­ial that has proven to be a near match to down in warmth and comfort. 

Some peo­ple are not actu­ally aller­gic to down, but to the dust mites and dust par­ti­cles that live in the down. Hypo down Com­forters are an excel­lent alter­na­tive for those aller­gic to dust mites. Hypo down is a fill made from com­bin­ing white goose down and milk­weed. Hypoal­ler­genic Hypo down traps the dust and keeps it from being inhaled.… . . NOTE: Down and feather-filled prod­ucts are packed tightly dur­ing ship­ping. Upon receipt, remove them from their pack­ag­ing, fluff gen­tly, and allow sev­eral hours to recover their full loft. In addi­tion, being sealed in plas­tic pack­ag­ing some­times causes the scent of these nat­ural prod­ucts to con­cen­trate to a dis­agree­able level. A few hours of air­ing usu­ally removes the odor.
